Herbert Smith Freehills promotes nearly 50 lawyers to senior associate
Herbert Smith Freehills has announced the promotion of 49 Australian lawyers to the position of senior associate.
Among the lawyers promoted are in the Competition, Corporate, Disputes, Employment, Real Estate & Projects practices, Regulation & Trade departments, among others.
Fifty percent of the lawyers promoted are women, which is another step taken by Herbert Smith Freelings to strengthen diversity and inclusion, according to the firm's own post on its website.
Andrew Pike, Herbert Smith Freehills’ Australian Executive Partner, said: “At Herbert Smith Freehills we take great pride in developing our people and providing them with exceptional opportunities to progress in their careers. In these challenging times, we believe that it’s just as important as ever to recognise and reward the hard work and growth of our talented people”.
