Jones Day has been included again as a leading international arbitration firm by Global Arbitration Review’s GAR 30
Jones Day has been recognized as one of the Worlds leading firms for international arbitration in the 2020 edition of the Global Arbitration Review (GAR) 30. The American law firm was included in this ranking for fifth consecutive year.
Gar has noted that clients appreciate the work of Jones Day for its "unique and thorough perspective" and a "value proposition that is second to none”.
Greg Shumaker, Practice Leader for Global Disputes said: "We believe this ranking reflects the increasing importance of international arbitration to our clients and the exceptional talent and leadership we have committed to this field”. Shumaker also added the following words:
"We are pleased to move up so dramatically in GAR's rankings but, more importantly, it is gratifying to know our clients recognize the strength, hard work and dedication of our entire team to handling their most complex disputes, now and in the future."
The ranking elaborated by GAR includes the amounts at stake in the firm’s international arbitration portfolio, the number of arbitral hearings conducted over a two-year period, the firm’s market reputation as shown by client reviews among other factors.
