Freshfields Druckhaus Deringer LLP has announced the promotion of Georgia Dawson as a Senior Partner of the firm. Dawson was currently serving the firm as a management partner and the leader of the firm's Asian department in the litigation department. 

As a result of this promotion, Dawson will work together as a team with Alan Mason, Rafique Bachour and Rick van Aerssen. This is a novelty, as this announcement confirms the first promotion of a woman to a leadership position in one of the firms belonging to the magic circle.
